Howard Johnson hotel will be the host hotel for the drivers. $75 per night.

There is also a country dance the night before the demo. If you are wanting a room I suggest you book soon.

2012 Drivers meeting

Our 2011 went over so well we are planning our 2012 drivers meeting.

IMPACT we will be paying for the costs of the meeting room rental.

This meeting is to discuss 2012 events and rules.

THIS MEETING IS FOR YOU THE DRIVERS!! Pit persons are also welcome.

We are the only promoter who holds a meeting of this kind that is open to ALL drivers.

Last year we gave away over 25 door prizes. Any businesses or drivers that are interested in donating door prizes again please inbox me.

The meeting will be in the same location as last year.

Making an IMPACT at your event!

FALL BRAWL UPDATE

Attention drivers attending the IMPACT Motorsports 2011 Fall Brawl.

We are only a few short days away from the largest one day demolition derby in Canada and we are proud you are going to be a part of it!!!

There are a few small items that we need to remind drivers of leading up to our event.

Registration fee will be $50 per entry.

Event tech and drivers sign in will open at 8:30. There will be a separate sign in area for drivers and their one mechanic and another area for all other pit persons. This will ease the flow of driver registration. The registration area will be up on the main track area in front of the grandstand. Please make sure you get everyone that will be in the pit area signed in when they arrive. People that don’t have an IMPACT pit pass will have to sit in the grandstand. This will be strictly enforced.

We ask that all person in the pit area save alcohol until off the grounds after the event. Also please make sure your pit area is clean before you leave.

NO ENTRIES WILL BE EXCEPTED PAST 12:30. SO PLEASE BE ON THE GROUNDS NO LATER THAN 12 NOON.

Reminder to youth drivers to make sure you or your guardian bring some ID (for the youth driver…passport, birth certificate or health card) for sign in.

Drivers that are wanting to submit their entry for the longest tow please make sure you bring a MapQuest print off and your license. If your license states that you live in Thunder Bay but your really live an hour away……nice try…..someone will rat you out….please submit a truthful entry for longest tow.

We will have a FSSS and mini up for auction at approximately 12:30. Right before the drivers meeting. Proceeds will go towards a local charity.

NO entries will be accepted past 12:30. We ask all drivers to please be on the grounds and ready for tech no later than 11 to help speed up the tech process so the event will start on time.

Any person that has an IMPACT pit passes will be able to purchase an IMPACT EAT, SLEEP, DERBY t-shirt for only $10….regularly $15.

This event will be VERY busy in the pit area so we ask drivers to drive slowly thru the pit area. Wreck less driving will result in removal from the grounds.

YOUTH MINI UPDATE FOR THE BRAWL

ATTENTION ALL YOUTH DRIVERS:

Gaurdians that are signing in youth drivers for the BRAWL MUST have ID for each driver. Health card……birth cert…..pass port.

Just got an email regarding two drivers that are going to try and slip under the IMPACT radar to drive in this class and they are over the age we allow. If you dont have proof of age than we reserve the right to turn you away without refund.

Its pretty sad when a promotor go’s to bat for the young drivers and creates a class as we have done and now people are trying to take advantage of us…..sad!

FALL BRAWL UPDATE

Bobby Cousineau, owner of “Cozy Home heating and air conditioning” has put up $100 for the longest tow award. If you are going to try for the longest tow you need to print off a MapQuest sheet with the start address that is on your drivers license and the finish address of the fair grounds. No exceptions!

Lindsay Sunday Update

Trucks will run again on Sunday in Lindsay. This will be for the FIRST 12 drivers that come and pay the day of.

We already have 6 entries.

This will be 100% payback and a trophy for first place only
